One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

I love that frustrated face....
OH! I love this so much!! Gonna have to create me one. =)
If only you knew these are only a "few" of Matthew's favorite expressions. I can't wait until they capture the "pig face" he makes. He know it makes us laugh and makes sure he does it for his grandma. I have always stated that Matthew is a little boy with a thousand expressions. His mischievious looks should have a patent on them. They definitely are his trademark.
How can anyone not give him what he wants with that "but I want it" look? I better shut up while I'm ahead or I'll never get to babysit again. Ha Ha
Love you my sweet little fella, grandma wright
Matthew is so cute with such great facial expressions! I wish I could get away with some of those!
