One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Oh ya... he loves to turn the dial so the sound is blarring....
and he loves that "cause and effect" thing!
Oh, I thought he was just into the "remote", I didn't realize he was into the hardcore TV/Video equipment.
Matthew has learned that pressing the buttons on the remote brings about a change in scenery. He has figured out the buttons on the "equipment" is equally as challenging and fun.
It won't be long and the King Trio Home will be locked up tighter than the Detention Center. Those busy little fingers at work. Matthew does not consider this "play". These manipulative tactics take concentration and skill, mind you. He's watched mommy and daddy do this a thousand time and it really is soooooo easy until he's busted......
Oh well, until "next time", folks, when I have my friends over. I'll be able to entertain them. tee hee
Matthew is soooooo cute. All I can do is laugh. grandma wright
The world is an amazing place and he has just begun exploring. Is he looking backward to see if you guys are watching him before he changes the channel? Well, gone are the days of kicking back and relaxing. I think I would rather watch him anytime.
I love you all. Grandma Sue
The secret allure of buttons... what fun!
