One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

It looks like you're in the Outback. Matthew appears so relaxed and not one bit fearful of riding on the big bike. Take it easy with that precious cargo. (sorry Michael, you know that's a Mom thing).
What a wonderful retreat from Las Vegas. You picked a beautiful weekend to go with the weather just right.
I just love you all so much. Thank you for the great pictures.
Love, Mom (Grandma Sue)
What a wonderful picture of a father and son enjoying the good life. Matthew has always felt safe and secure in his father's presence. Michael has always been there for him during the best and worst of times. It is so wonderful watching the "King Trio" enjoy life to it's fullest. Matthew likes to ride forward to see where he is going. I am sure he is very impressed with Quixa and her "speed". There's no sitting around when she is in Beaver. The ATV's can't out run her. This is beautiful country with deers and elks grazing in the meadows. Life is Good! Love you boys, grandma w
