One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Gwenna is an angel
A special thank you to Gwenna Morganson and her husband for taking Mike and Terri's foster baby while Magoo is in the hospital. Thankfully, they have already been certified as foster parents and were more than willing to take in the little guy until Matthew is out of the hospital and feeling better. God Bless you guys!!
So Sorry Mathew is sick. It isn't the swine flu is it? Glad it isn't his heart though. Our prayers are with you.
ReplyDeleteYes, thank God for The Morganson's...
ReplyDeletethey are a Godsend....
she was so kind to offer to take care of him for as long as we need!
I didn't know you alredy had a foster child. I hope it all works out for you... and darling Matthew. What a worry. Thank goodness for Charlotte's Web.. he looks happy watching that.
ReplyDeleteOh yikes... today the foster baby had a fever of 101.5. Gwenna is giving him lots of Tylenol and extra love.
ReplyDeleteIt was the foster baby that brought on this entire mess. The baby had a runny nose. Three days later Matthew came down with this illness and has been sick ever since. At this point in Matthew's life, foster children are not recommended by the nurses or doctors.
