One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future.
To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Auntie Gabrielle came outside to make sure Uncle Keith & the boys weren't burning the house down while frying the turkey.
And now for the host and hostess of the mostest!!! It has become a family tradition to go to the Davenport's home for Thanksgiving. Matthew visits there just about every Sunday for football and has established quite a friendships with his kin. Matthew has all his favorite places to play and knows that a "kiss" can always be had from his auntie and uncle. Matthew never cried the entire time. He stayed so busy to the amusement of everyone.
