One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future.
To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

This outfit reminds me of my baby picture when I was Matthew's age.
I remember the outfit well. He looks so adorable. Of course, Terri looks beautiful as always. You know, Jerry, I didn't even notice the phone until you brought it to our attention. That is a very professional look. Matthew seems to get a kick out of it also.
My mom is sooooo busy she can't even take the phone out of her ear for one pic.... We are a very professional and successful family.
