One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future.

Sometimes when Terri & I praise him for waving he looks at his hand as if to wonder what it is doing that is so remarkable.
Gosh, I wish we knew just what was going on in that little mind of his. He is so funny with all his expressions. He is such a wonderful miracle and just gets cuter every day.
