One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future.

Dr. Tenby is delighted with Matthew's growth & weight gain. For the first time in 13 months he is within normal ranges for both. He weighed in today at 19lbs. 3 ounces (13 ounces away from a forward facing car seat) and measured 28.5 inches.
Wow, 19 lbs. 3 oz. What a big boy he is. It is so great that you don't have to keep going to doctors every week. That means that he is doing so well and the thanks for that goes to Terri & Michael - super great parents!
