One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future.

At the end of the visit Matthew received two shots and this content little face vanished. I am proud to say that it didn't take him long to recover and he was back to his normal little demeanor.
Matthew looks so good, so WELL compared to the sick little guy he was. I am so happy that he is doing so well! I continue to hope and pray for him. I hope his parents can get much needed rest from the anxiety!
