One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future.

They say "play is the work of a child" and for Matthew it's no different. After his morning meds we got down to the business of play. Terri and I love to watch him study objects to intently.
It's so wonderful to see him playing and enjoying all his toys. He is going to be one smart little boy. It's especially nice when Mommy & Daddy play with him also.
