One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future.
To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Matthew and I couldn't resist dressing up like twins.
There are my boys with their happy faces and look-a-like clothes. I have never seen you happier my Son and the reason is you have Terri & Matthew to make all your Christmases be bright.
I've noticed in the past there is a simularity about you two........
Matthew likes to give us his serious look from time to time because there is intrigue in "that look". Those smiley faces are in abundance; but these looks makes you wonder just what he is thinking...... or maybe what he is up too???? Ha Ha
Love the father and son shot. Daddy always has a smile on his face when around Matthew. He is a good daddy and husband. We are "so lucky" to have him in our family. We are blessed with grandma sue's boys, for sure. Love you guys, grandma w
