BUT, being a parent of two year olds, I completely understand how old the "nightly" routine can get. Ha Ha.

Matthew does put up a good fight, though. He faces that Sandman with much protest. Yes, that foot on top of the rail is a good indicator that "mountain" can be leaped over and many a brave heart has done it. Once that happens, there will be many trips "back to bed" hee hee.

Matthew just feels he spent the first year of his life laying flat on his back with tubes stuck in him. He is just attempting to make up for lost time. That's my excuse for him. (grandma's have to make up good excuses for our little offsprings)

Grandma loves her sweet little two year old!!!!!!! grandma wrightGrandma Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01792780940157057699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15628716.post-13103085340327716772007-08-05T02:42:00.000-07:002007-08-05T02:42:00.000-07:00David! Tonight I told her that if she got out of bed again (after Terry tried several times)that Daddy Monster was going to get her. I don't think she believed me. She was sure startled as she came running down the hall to meet me running towards her and being scooped up and back in bed before she knew what happened. Poor baby cried, I think I scared her running (I have been called big and scary before) towards her!

Oh, and when I went in their bedroom tonight Sadie jumped up squealing "Daddy" proudly as she displayed her nekkedness!

Sorry for the hijack! I thought I would commiserate a bit ;)Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08364215689703008436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15628716.post-32679041868795500402007-08-04T15:40:00.000-07:002007-08-04T15:40:00.000-07:00CUTE! I think maybe he would have none of that either. If he gets out, he's on the go. He plays all day and you would think he would be ready for some rest. Well that's why they call it the terrible two's, or active two's would be nicer.

Anyway, he is so darn cute no matter what he doing.

I love you Matthew. My 2 yr old twins are very similar (or at least 1 out of two is) If someone put me in a crib and told me to go to sleep now...I would gladly pull the covers up and close my eyes.....Ahhhh if they only know what we know :-)T n T - K n Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09211756931803121593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15628716.post-73143768597937198962007-08-02T17:06:00.000-07:002007-08-02T17:06:00.000-07:00Ugh, toddler bedtime troubles can be so hard! You are lucky he can't do that yet! Then you're really in trouble!

Frustrated Magoo still looks so cute! I like how you've decorated his room.
